Commonly Asked Interview Questions

  • Can you tell me a little about yourself?
  • How did you hear about the position?
  • What do you know about the company?
  • What are your biggest strengths?
  • What are your biggest weaknesses?
  • Why should we hire you?
  • How do people describe you?

Good Example

  • Displays positive body language (i.e. shakes hand, maintains eye contact and good posture, greets interviewer politely and with respect).
  • Answers confidently and considers her words before speaking.
  • Minimal stuttering, which can be attributed to nerves, that does not detract from her well thought answers.

Bad Example

  • Fidgets with pen throughout interview, repeatedly scraping it along the table and distracting from his answers, which displays a lack of confidence.
  • Does not maintain eye contact.
  • Frequent and disruptive stuttering detracts from the delivery of his answers and portrays that he is unprepared and unsure of his responses.
  • Minimal engagement in conversation.
  • Fails to shake hands and politely greet interviewer.
